Our products are handmade in Colorado\. All our hardware, nylon materials, and threads are purchased in the USA\. Our dog collars, leashes, and horse halters are machine washable\. We recommend air dry for best results\. During manufacturing we pay careful attention to craftsmanship ensuring both your satisfaction and your pets’ safety\. We use durable hardware and high\-quality nylon webbing\. We sew each component with matching colored thread to give our products that custom\-finished look\. For a personalized touch, we offer embroidery of your horse or dog’s name and/or your phone number on your halter and collars\. Further customization is available on our horse halters by adding a contrasting\-colored nylon overlay on the nose and side pieces\. We offer more than a dozen color options as well as specialty\-designer nylon webbing patterns to choose from\.
Over the years the Thriving Pets International \(TPI\) “go\-to\-market” strategy has evolved\. TPI has been operating as a “Life\-Style” business with little marketing effort and no sales staffing\. Pre\-Covid, TPI sold wholesale to retail pet stores; dog and horse trainers; pet sitters; and horse boarding facilities\.
TPI has sold personalized products and embroidery services at events \(e\.g\. the Minnesota Horse
Expo; the Tulsa Oklahoma State Fair; community festivals; craft shows; farmers’ markets; etc\.\)\.
Embroidery services have included selling “people wear” \(e\.g\. coats; jackets; vests; shirts; and
hat\) with names and a wide variety of designs\.
TPI has been the unofficial embroiderer at Denver’s National Western Stock Show & Rodeo, personalizing champions’ jackets for over 100 competitive equestrian events each year\.
